Description Carl Schneiders 2019-09-30 07:47:08 UTC
Description:
A comment in LibreOffice Writer offers the following three options when clicking on its "triangle down" menu: "Delete Comment", "Delete All Comments from <USER>", "Delete All Comments". The menu items are very small and you can easily click the wrong one.

The last two, "Delete All Comments from <USER>" and "Delete All Comments" should show a confirmation prompt to prevent accidentally deleting all comments (from <USER>), which is critical when working on large documents.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a Document in Writer
2.Create a comment
3.Click on the "triangle down" menu
4.Click "Delete all comments" or "Delete all comments from <USER>"

Actual Results:
All comments [from <USER>] are deleted

Expected Results:
A confirmation prompt is shown to confirm deleting all comments [from <USER>].

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Carl, thank you for reporting the bug. It seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
